Liz's Story of Nelly

June 7

We received news that we will have a court date on Tuesday morning at 10 am. If all goes well and the requests are granted, we could leave Ukraine next Friday or Saturday, provided there are seats available on the planes. Our current tickets are for June 16, but if we can come home the 11 or so, we will.

Tomorrow is Bill's birthday, and the girls and I went to Tiko Market (the only 24-hour grocery in Kiev) and bought him chocolates and a neck pillow for the plane. The kids and I made cards with the art set Granny & Pappy sent with us, and we are making spaghetti for dinner tomorrow (we brought gluten free noodles with us for Neil). I tried to get on-line yesterday to get Dodger updates, but the server at our local internet cafe was down all day. I will need to do that ASAP, as he is dying to know how they are doing, and we can't get baseball news here (only soccer and tennis). The internet cafe is closing an hour early with no warning - we were just informed that we must go. Hmm...someone must have a date! More later, and lots of love.

Liz
